On Friday 1st September 2017 we’re bringing our best selling murder mystery, 1920s Gin & Sin, to The Raikes Hall in Blackpool. The aim is to raise lots of money for the Magic Moments Children’s Charity. And you could be part of it.
Manchester Murder Mysteries is delighted to be working with Spicer Haart to raise funds for the Magic Moments Children’s Charity. Spicer Haart arrange regular fundraising events for local charities. This time they’ve asked Manchester Murder Mysteries to help put on a special event that will give people an excuse to dress up, catch a killer, and party like its 1920.
The Magic Moments Children’s Charity was set up in 1998 by Alick Smith, the then Chairman of Spicerhaart, and his wife Val. Since then the charity has raised in excess of one million pounds children with life limiting illnesses and their families. Whilst their main aim is to provide well deserved holidays for families in need of a break, they also deliver support through their hospice network which provides essential equipment that makes children’s lives easier.
Gin & Sin murder mystery ticket holders will have the chance to join in with our most popular murder mystery and help raise funds for this valued and needed charity. Set in the 1920s Gatsby era, this tale of murder and betrayal will see you delve into the murky underground world of Charlie Gunson and his gang, Dickie Dastard and his long suffering girlfriend Trixie Lixie, boozy Boo-Boo and Fee-Fee Cassidy and many more as you try to uncover the killer.
The best part of the show is that YOU have the chance to get involved! Each ticket holder will have a small role to play in the story, as well as the chance to have their fill of homemade hotpot and dessert, and most importantly, win a prize for catching the murderer!
Get your flapper dresses ready, iron that pin-stripped suit, and we’ll see you at The Raikes in Blackpool on Friday 1st September for the 1920s Gin & Sin murder mystery.
