Fancy a little Gin & Sin this summer? Have both at our murder mystery night

I don’t think many people could deny that both ‘ginning’ and ‘sinning’ are both veritable and popular pastimes for all seasons. But Summer, with it’s warm breezes and glorious sunshine (for those three days if we’re lucky), does particularly motivate the average Brit to engage their tendencies towards alcoholism and aggression. We take the term ‘hot and bothered’ to new and unexplored levels!
In order to minimise the real levels of anti-social behaviour and drunk and disorderly conduct on the streets of Manchester, we’re bringing it indoors to Abel Heywood where you have the chance to indulge in some fictitious felonies, dedicated detective work and as much gin (or any other type of booze) you can afford or stomach.

Event review: Hen party wine tasting & murder mystery dinner in Liverpool

The big event: Hen party

What they wanted: Murder mystery, wine tasting, dinner

Where: Liverpool

Having crossed the M62 border between Manchester and Merseyside, manned by the usual entourage of armed guards and people selling knock-off football shirts, I happily headed to Liverpool to meet my hens for an evening for wine, good food and laughter.
